It is a native infusion that was cultivated and consumed by the Guarani Indians even before the discovery of America. Yerbador Mate is another name for the trade name of the original, dried Paraguayan holly, aged for 5 years – also known as yerba mate. It is also the most popular infusion in South America, consumed daily by hundreds of millions of people. This is due to its remarkable stimulating properties, through the gradual release of caffeine and without depleting minerals – quite the opposite, research by the Pasteur Institute in Paris has shown that yerba mate contains most of the nutrients essential for the proper functioning of the body.

The vessel is filled 1/3 – 1/4 full and topped up with water at a maximum temperature of 80 degrees Celsius, and after a few minutes you can enjoy the beneficial infusion. Water is added several times to the same leaves, as they don’t lose their strength.
