In response to thousands of requests, we’re introducing to the shop a ceramic vessel called Mate, Matero or Calabaza by Yerbador in an upgraded professional 2.0 version compared to the previous cup. The new vessel for brewing yerba mate by Yerbador is coated with excellent enamel both inside and outside. The coating made of special ceramic paints, certified for trade in the European Union for products in contact with food, is safe and free of cadmium, lead and molybdenum.

The precision of workmanship and smooth finish of the ceramic vessel bring Matero Yerbador Pro 2.0 closer to the craftsmanship of hand-made ceramics, combining it with a new generation of paints. Yerba mate from a ceramic Matero tastes exquisite! The vessel’s contoured shape fits perfectly in the hand. The shape and well-balanced weight of the glazed stoneware make the vessel stable and hard to accidentally knock over, e.g. on a desk while studying, or at a laptop, smartphone or work surface.

Drinking yerba mate from a Matero is a true pleasure, especially since the thick walls of the vessel retain temperature for a long time. Hot yerba stays pleasantly warm for longer, and cold mate doesn’t heat up from the high temperature outside.
